LEE’S FOUNDATION SENSITIZATION PLAN ON MENSTRUAL HYGIENE:
I. Objectives
To raise awareness on menstrual hygiene management (MHM) among females ages 13-30 and males ages 13-40 in rural communities
To promote healthy and hygienic practices during menstruation
To reduce stigma and taboo surrounding menstruation and MHM
II. Target Audience
Females ages 13-30 in rural communities
Males ages 13-40 in rural communities
III. Awareness Campaigns
Community outreach and education programs specifically targeting females and males
Workshops and seminars on proper MHM practices and female reproductive health
Distribution of informational materials (brochures, posters, etc.) on MHM and reproductive health
Involvement of local leaders and influencers to promote MHM in the community
IV. Training and Capacity Building
Hands-on training on MHM for female and male community members
Workshops for community leaders on effective MHM management and promoting female reproductive health
Technical assistance for the construction and maintenance of MHM facilities in schools and public spaces
